Navarre Roy’s practice includes the prosecution and enforcement of the different streams of intellectual property and commercial transactions. He has worked with individuals and businesses from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in strategizing, protecting, and monetizing their intellectual property and commercial interests. Over the years, Navarre has negotiated, drafted and reviewed a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements to protect the commercial interests of individuals and businesses. He has worked with both startups and Investors in raising funds through a variety of instruments and mergers and acquisitions.
He has worked closely with businesses in conducting intellectual property audits and has been involved in the valuation of intangible assets. He was the recipient of a scholarship for a Specialized Course on Intellectual Property Valuation conducted by the World Intellectual Property Organization and the LUISS Business School along with the Italian Intellectual Property Office.
Navarre has written on intellectual property for various publications including Lexology, Inc 42 and is also a visiting faculty of the Madras University where he conducts a class on Copyright for Post Graduate Journalism students.
